Arts Center


The Arts Center of the City of Columbia Parks and Recreation is located at 1928 Calhoun Street. It provides a place for artisans to have Open Studio time and also has classes for those wanting to learn or improve pottery skills. Additional classes in other mediums are also offered.

This urban recreational space, located in front of Columbia Museum of Art, is home to the City’s Seasonal Ice Skating Rink. Shoppers at the weekly Soda City Market often use the available seating here to enjoy food purchased at the market.

Maxcy Gregg Park


This is a nice scenic city park with a creek, a formal garden, a labyrinth, and a few creekside walking paths. It is located near the University of South Carolina and Five Points.
